The COVID-19 and Cancer Consortium (CCC19)

Data Sharing Policy

Our data sharing policy continues to evolve. Our intent is to share findings from the CCC19 registry rapidly through published manuscripts, and to make aggregate data publicly available. Although the CCC19 data is anonymized, there exists the potential to re-identify patients even with a very few characteristics. In order to avoid this, any presented variable category with fewer than five (5) cases will be masked by replacing the actual number with "<5" or similar notation. Any interactive exploration of variables in combination will be limited when the combination would result in fewer than five (5) cases. We do consider sharing of individual-level data on a case-by-case basis, typically with members of the CCC19. Such sharing requires a Data Use Agreement with Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
